Nedbank Namibia Bursaries 2024-2025
Investing in your future
Each year Nedbank awards bursaries to help students with the costs of higher education. So if you’re thinking of studying towards a university degree but don’t have the financial means, the Old Mutual & NedNamibia Education Trust bursary programme could be your opportunity to study at university.
What we look at
- Are you a member of one of the participating trade unions;
- A solely financially-dependent child of a member of the participating trade union and under the age of 25;
- A solely financially-dependent grandchild or other blood relative to the member; and
- Under the age of 25.
Applications open from July to September annually.

I am writing to respectfully request your assistance in securing a bursary for my tuition fees and hostel fees at Neudamm Campus. I am currently a second-year student pursuing a degree in Agricultural Economics. Unfortunately, due to my family’s financial constraints, I am facing difficulties in covering the costs of my hostel accommodation and tuition fees. I am an orphan, having lost my father at the age of five, and my mother is a person with disabilities, making it even more challenging for her to support me financially. With your support, I am hopeful that I can continue my education without the burden of financial worries. I am deeply committed to my studies and believe that a bursary would greatly alleviate the financial strain on my family and enable me to focus on my academic pursuits.
