1 Wits University Discretionary Fund funding opportunity

The Discretionary Fund has been made available through the generosity of various corporates, trust funds and individual donors. This fund will provide additional funding opportunities to undergraduate and postgraduate students .

While the funding is not guaranteed, registered students who wish to be considered, should apply.

Criteria for eligibility may include:

Academic achievement
discipline specific depending on the donor

Applications

Please apply on the student self-service portal. To assist you with the online application please follow these steps.

Your application will be added to a database which will be used to pair students that match donor criteria when the University receives such funding.

A form with supporting documentation needs to be uploaded onto the self-service portal. Applications without the supporting document uploaded will not be considered.

Please note that this application is a separate application to the GAP Funding application.
