University of Namibia Registration Fees

All current and prospective students of the University of Namibia are urged to note the following approved deposits for the 2018 academic year.

A Wear & Tear Fee of N$1 000(non-refundable) is payable before or on the day of Registration.
Hostel Fee is payable upfront, on the day of Registration, at the beginning of each semester.
 

Important notices

  • Non-sponsored students, who settle their tuition and accommodation fees for the full year during Registration, will qualify for a 10% discount, calculated on actual tuition fees only.
  • Students are encouraged to sort out their financial enquiries prior to the registration process.
  • In order to be exempted from paying the required deposit, bursary holders need to provide written proof of sponsorship/bursary from the Donor.
  • Students registering with an acknowledgement letter from the Namibia Student Financial Assistant Fund (NSFAF), should pay the Registration Fee of N$ 1650 plus the required deposit for campus accommodation. Kindly note that the acknowledgement letter is not a guarantee for a loan to be awarded.
  • Outstanding balances should be settled in full, before registration.
  • A Late Registration Fee of N$600 is payable by all students, who register after the normal registration period.
  • A student number must be indicated as reference for all direct and electronic deposits.
  • Students are encouraged to make deposits into the University’s bank account but please note that deposits could
    take up to 7 working days to reflect. Cashiers will not be available for the 2018 registration.
  • Please have your proof of payment available when you register.

Payment plan on Remaining Balance(Non-Bursary/Loan Holders)

  • Sign a Debit Order/Settlement Agreement at Registration to pay off the outstanding balance by or on 30 June 2018 (only applicable for Namibian students).

  2. I plan for my nephew to study at University of Namibia. as international student (Equatorial Guinea) we would like for him to take intensive English for a year then study Business. We would like to secure both admission and accommodation for him.

    • Sandie, UNAM Conducts its applications in June and September each year. The online application platform shall be available.
