Admission Criteria

To qualify for admission to the Diploma in Applied Statistics, an applicant shall satisfy any one of the following minimum requirements:

  • A Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC) or equivalent, obtained in not more than two examination sittings with a minimum of 22 points in five subjects on the UNAM Evaluation Scale. English is a compulsory subject and should have been obtained on a First or second Language Ordinary Level with symbol D or higher. A symbol D or higher in Mathematics is also required.
  • Mature age entry (based on the results from the entry test)

Duration of Study

The Diploma in Applied Statistics cannot be completed in less than two (2) years. The Diploma must be completed within three (3) years of full-time study, unless special permission is granted for this period to be exceeded.
