TCTA: Graduate / Internship Programme 2024-2025

Location: Centurion, Pretoria

The Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA) is offering ten internship opportunities for deserving youth from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. If you meet the minimum requirements, you’re encouraged to apply for one of the following internship fields:

  1. Engineering [x1]:
    • Qualification: BSc or BEng, Project / Cost Management or BTech in Quantity Surveying
  2. Environmental Studies/Management (Projects) [x1]:
    • Qualification: BSc or BTech in Environmental Management or related field
  3. Human Resources [x1]:
    • Qualification: B Degree or Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management
  4. Project Finance, Treasury & Finance [x3]:
    • Qualification: BCom Economics (Financial Management / Treasury & Investment, Commercial or any related numerate Degree, BCom Accounting or any Finance related degree, for Finance position and other positions as per above.
  5. Procurement [x1]:
    • Qualification: Diploma in SCM, Logistics or Purchasing.
  6. Internal Audit [x1]:
    • Qualification: Relevant B Degree or Diploma in Commerce/Accounting.
  7. Internal Audit – IT [x1]:
    • Qualification: Relevant B Degree or Diploma in IT / IT Auditing / Computer Science / Computer Auditing / Info Systems or equivalent.
  8. Legal & Compliance [x1]:
    • Qualification: LLB

Application Requirements:

  • Applicants should be previously disadvantaged youth.
  • No experience is required.
  • Only applicants who have NOT previously served as Interns in the same field will be considered.
  • Other related documentation such as certified copies of ID documents, qualifications (Grade 12 certificate and tertiary qualification or recent academic records) etc. need not accompany the application when applying. Such documents must only be produced by shortlisted candidates.
