Canon Collins Scholarship Programme

Canon Collins Scholarship Programme

Canon Collins Scholarship Programme: The Canon Collins Scholarship Programme offers both partial grants and full scholarships annually.
Full scholarships provide maintenance and tuition fees.
The key aim of the Scholarships Programme is to help build the human resources necessary for economic, social and cultural development in the southern African region and to develop an educated and skilled workforce that can benefit the wider community.
Canon Collins Trust scholarship holders are thus expected to use the knowledge, training and skills acquired through their studies to contribute positively to the development of their home country.
The Canon Collins Trust scholarships are for students from/in the countries of southern Africa.
These are South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Angola and Mozambique.
The scholarships are for a postgraduate degree (normally a one year Master’s degree) in either the United Kingdom or southern Africa.
Applicants should note that:
Scholarships for study in the United Kingdom are awarded for degrees that are either not available in southern African universities or not available at the required level, for example MBAs will not be considered where similar programmes are on offer in southern Africa.
The UK scholarship programme is administered by the London Office.
Enquiries should be directed to the UK Scholarships Programme Manager at; info [at] canoncollins.org.uk
The South Africa scholarship programme is administered by the Cape Town office. Enquires should be directed to the Regional Director; canoncollins [at] iafrica.com
