Eligibility
- The John Davidson Educational Trust will fund Postgraduate students in the Engineering, Commerce and Management fields (Diploma, Honours, Masters or PhD). T
- To be eligible students must show academic suitability and financial need.
- Please mark sections clearly for example Curriculum Vitae 2.1, Essay 1: Motivation 2.2.1 etc.
The Trustees regard the essays, which are required as part of the Bursary Application, as an important factor in considering all applications. It should not be regarded simply as a curriculum vitae or a superficial statement by the Applicant. The Trustees expect the essays to be of an appropriate standard reflective of the Applicant’s status as a postgraduate student and containing sufficient detail to the Trustees an understanding of the Applicant’s motivations, aspirations and intentions. In other words, the essay should be the voice of the individual Applicant.
Incomplete and late applications will not be passed on to the Trust.
