National Consumer Commission: Graduate / Internship Programme 2024-2025
Location: Pretoria Groenkloof
The National Consumer Commission (NCC) is offering an internship opportunity to South African unemployed graduates residing in Gauteng. This program aims to provide practical work experience and skills development in various fields. Successful candidates will receive a stipend of R7000.00 per month for a fixed-term period of 24 months.
Available Positions:
- Investigations
- Qualification: Bachelor of Laws
- Responsibilities: Attend to consumer complaints, investigate and assess products, and ensure enforcement of the Consumer Protection Act.
- Risk Management
- Qualification: ND / Degree in Internal Audit / Risk Management
- Responsibilities: Manage internal audit and risk management strategies, monitor compliance management framework.
- Media Liaison
- Qualification: ND / Degree in Public Relations / Communications
- Responsibilities: Manage social media platforms, create content for media releases, update mailing lists.
- Finance
- Qualification: Degree in Accounting
- Responsibilities: Maintain asset register, process expenditure control services, and payments.
- ICT
- Qualification: Diploma in IT
- Responsibilities: Coordinate, maintain, and administer ICT systems for the NCC.
- Legal Services
- Qualification: Bachelor of Laws
- Responsibilities: Provide legal support and opinions, conduct prosecutions on behalf of the NCC.
- Consumer Education
- Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Communications
- Responsibilities: Manage and develop effective education services to consumers and businesses.
- Business Education
- Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Communications
- Responsibilities: Manage voluntary business education services, create awareness of the Act.
