CPUT NSFAS Online Application for 2024-2025
Below is an Outline of how to Apply for the CPUT NSFAS in 2024-2025. These financial aids are aimed at providing financial support to students who have a household income not exceeding R350000. It is prudent to apply for this Student aid as soon as possible since late applications are not accepted. On some occasions however, the application deadline may be extended, but it should be noted that this is entirely left to the discretion of NSFAS. All the best.
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, or NSFAS, is a government organisation that provides academically competent and financially needy students with financially assistance towards a university qualification. The funding provided by NSFAS assists with study-related costs such as tuition, accommodation and allowances (meal, travel & study materials).
Applications for NSFAS
Kindly note that students entering university for the first time (which includes matriculants) must apply online from the 01 AUGUST . Kindly note that the closing date for applications is the 30 NOVEMBER .

You are welcome to visit your provincial/regional NYDA centre/office where you will be issued with a hardcopy of the application form to complete and resubmit. Kindly ensure that you complete and resubmit your application online before the NSFAS closing dates for application forms.
NB: Applications for NSFAS will no longer be accepted by the CPUT Financial Aid Office.

Nsfas closing date : All students who will register at public universities/ TVET colleges for the first time and need financial support, can now apply directly to NSFAS for financial assistance. Applications will remain open between 01 August and 30 November
