The South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) was founded in 1966. The company is aimed at encouraging the promotion and expansion of the industrial and commercial property sectors within South Africa.

The SAPOA bursary fund was established to address the skills shortage within the Commercial Property Industry. By financially assisting young black deserving students, SAPOA hopes to transform the commercial property industry to correctly reflect the population demographic in the country.
