Eldorado B&B and Camping Job Vacancies in Namibia

About Us

The Eldorado farm originally belonged to Adri’s grand father who was one of the first people to live in the Etosha area. Thereafter the farm was bought by Henning Pienaar, Adri’s father, who lived on the farm for a further 30 years.

In total Eldorado has been part of the Pienaar family for around 66 years and has been a successful cattle and sheep farm.

Today the farm is populated with gemsbok, eland, impala, springbok, steenbuck, duiker, zebra, blue and black wildebeest, the Damara dik-dik, ostriches and a large variety of indigenous birds.

Our Predators & Rhinos

ldorado Guest House offers guided walks to the large camps where we keep our leopards, cheetahs, brown hyena’s, spotted hyena’s, caracal and rhinos.

These animals come from the surrounding areas, but mainly from Etosha National Park. Daily efforts to keep them out and the failure to succeed, leaves only 2 choices… Kill them all or keep them alive in large, government regulated camps, where they will be cared for till the day they die. Unfortunately predators don’t live from vegetation, but must be fed their daily ration of expensive meat… They are shown to paying tourists to cover the feeding- and veterinary expenses.
